How do I invest in the Cadre Horizon Fund using my IRA account?

When you invest in the Cadre Horizon Fund on the Cadre website, you’ll be given the opportunity to indicate you wish to invest through your IRA in the allocation process . If you have any questions, simply schedule a call or call us directly at (646) 506-4498 and we’ll walk you through the investment process.

Can I invest in the Cadre Horizon Fund using a self directed IRA?

Yes. The structure of the Cadre Horizon Fund allows for investments from self directed IRAs.

Who is eligible to invest in the Cadre Horizon Fund using an IRA?

Currently, accredited investors can invest in the Cadre Horizon Fund using an IRA. If you are a Qualified Purchaser you are also eligible to invest in certain additional Cadre product offerings using your IRA. Please contact our Investor Relations team to learn more about your eligibility.

How do I fund my investment from my IRA account? Do I do this through my custodian or do I directly send funds to Cadre?

When fund distributions are made, how do I ensure they stay in my retirement account? 

Fund distributions are deposited into the same account that holds the investment. If you invest in the Cadre Horizon Fund through your IRA then any distributions will be deposited directly into your IRA.

Will Cadre provide a 1099-R?

Yes, Cadre will provide all investors with the appropriate tax documentation each year.

Would an investment in the Cadre Horizon Fund count as a contribution to my IRA?

No. Your IRA account must already be funded and have sufficient cash prior to making an investment in the Cadre Horizon Fund.
